Why do some properties not have a link to Zillow?
We do our best to create a link to Zillow.com for more details on the property when possible, but sometimes the property cannot be found because it is in an area not covered by Zillow, or Zillow cannot determine an exact property with the information we give it. When there are multiple properties for an address and unit number is not specified, we'll provide a link to Zillow showing the multiple results. Sometimes you can try to just cut and paste the address information we provide and see if you can figure out the property yourself if you are interested (particularly if you know the property well enough to identify it correctly in Zillow).
Where can I find other foreclosure information?
You can almost always find foreclosure auction information in your local newspaper. Generally, these auctions are listed as "Trustee Sales".
Where do the auctions take place?
Often the auctions we list on this site will occur at a location appointed by the local government/jurisdiction. Visit the website of the firm (we provide a link for you) that handles the auction to find out where it will take place.
Why did I get denied when searching?
In an effort to block suspicious behavior on our website, we are using a few methods to capture this behavior without affecting the number of steps required to carry out a search by a user. We also ask all users to carefully review our terms of use. If in error or not, we maintain records of suspicious activity on our website and continual abuse may restrict all access to the website.
However, sometimes it may be possible that we flag your behavior as malicious in error. If that is the case, please contact us and explain what caused you to be blocked from searching.
What browsers do you support?
At the moment we support Safari, Firefox 2.0+, and Internet Explorer 7+.
What states will you be providing auction information for on your website?
The states currently listed are: Alaska, Arizona, California, Deleware, District of Columbia, Georgia, Idaho, Maryland, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, Washington, and West Virginia.

How do I select properties for my report?
There are various ways to add properties to include in your report:
- Properties Search - When viewing properties, just select the ones you are interested in and click the "Save Selected Properties for My Report" button to select them for your report.
- Auction Search - When viewing auctions, select the auctions that you are interested in and click on the "Save Selected Auctions for My Report" button. This will include all of the properties from the auction in the report. You may also click "Show Properties" to view the properties for that auction and then only select the properties you are interested in.
- Map Search - On the Map Search page, once you have searched from an address, you can click on the property icon and then click the checkbox in the pop-up window to include it in your report.
Is there a limit on the reports that I generate?
YES. Currently, we are providing a limited number of these reports daily for free. We are limiting our users to 50 properties per day for a report. You may use 50 properties in one or multiple reports in the same day, but you will not be able to create a report on more than 50 properties.
Since Zillow.com is our primary source of details on these properties, only properties which we have found in Zillow will count (e.g., properties with Zillow icons next them in the properties list). For example, if you select 57 properties and only 50 of them have been found by us in Zillow, you can include all 57 in your report.
It is important to understand that ForeclosureAuctionInfo.com only has a limited number of free reports it will provide to all users a day. If you come to the website and no more "slots" are available, we apologize, but we encourage you to try another day. Eventually, we plan to provide more reports for a fee rather than ration the reports. However, we will always provide the property lists, which can be downloaded for free from the Property Search page. And of course, you can always get the property details yourself from Zillow.
